Our household consists of Darren, Kimberley and Brayden - the humans.
We live with 6 dogs - 5 Border Collies and 1 Jack Russell Terrier.
We have 2 cats. Ruby, a little black cat we adopted from our local SPCA and a tabby cat, Thomas. Thomas was dumped in our area by some uncaring individuals.
We also have 2 quarter horses - Hunter and Tess. They are now in their 20's.
Darren and Kimberley train for and compete in a variety of sports - Agility, Flyball, Herding, Obedience and Rally O. We expose our Border Collies to sheep when time allows. Flirt is the first of our dogs to not be worked on sheep extensively, and that is due to the loss of the arena where we boarded them.
Darren and Kimberley are also both Masters level judges with the AAC and UKI.
All our animals are family members. With the exception of the 2 large 4 footers (our horses), the others all live in the house with us.
We are also huge advocates for rescue. After over 20 active years doing rescue, we decided to take a break but still fundraise and are involved from the sidelines.
We are FIRM believers in "if you don't rescue don't breed". We always have at least one rescue dog living with us. We love adopting senior Border Collies, its where our hearts lie.
