Here is Klio in Cindy's words:
Klio is doing really well.
She prefers to be outside because there is always stuff to do out there. When
she is inside, she does focus on the cats but hasn't been nasty (although, I would not trust her
alone with them). If and when she does settle down inside, she will try to find a spot
near my feet, but she doesn't snap at everyone else in that space anymore.
She doesn't look for a fight with anyone but she wants to work them all the time
and when she comes in for a heel grab, that may get the other dog turning on her in defense and a
scuffle ensues, but there is no aggression per say, just misdirected herding behaviour and the
nipping only really comes in when we go outside and everyone tears down the yard in
excitement.
And we took her out to Scott's when I dropped Psyche off for training. She
has a lot of instinct and wants to work the sheep. She is actually pretty nice on them (once
she realized that they move when she wants them to). If someone wants to get into herding,
she's probably a nice dog to learn with.
Klio may be best as a single dog in a household.
